Uncut and Unopened Pages

The terms “uncut” and “unopened” pages technically mean different things, but are often used interchangeably. In this blog post, I’ll briefly explain the difference between the two.

Remaindered Books

When a book no longer sells, booksellers move it off their shelves to make space for newer titles. They return the books to publishers and claim a refund. A remaindered book (also called remainders) is an unsold book that was returned to the publisher by the bookseller.

Quarter Binding

Quarter binding or quarter covers are a type of binding that covers the spine and around 1/8th -1/4th of the boards (covers) with one type of material, and the rest of the board with another type of material.
