How many times have you been misunderstood, the words coming all wrong out of your mouth?

How many times has past trauma prevented you from reaching out to new people?

We Will Meet Again is the story of Paridhi and Abhigyan, who take a convoluted journey of love together.

Paridhi is a small-town girl with a healthy dose of self-respect and no time for love, whereas Abhigyan is a rich businessman who endears himself to people easily. Except Paridhi.

How do they meet? At a wedding.

How do these two people, as different as chalk from cheese, develop feelings for each other?

That’s what this book is about.

What I loved most about the book was how well I could relate to the character of Paridhi. The simple sartorial tastes, the worries over studies and family, the life in a hostel, dealing with entitled men…all of it felt so real.

Tarang’s writing is forthright, understated, and candid. No artificial dialogues. No over-the-top romantic gestures.

She has the ability to keep you hooked on the story, even when you know that the hero and heroine are eventually going to end up together.

I wasn’t quite convinced about Abhigyan’s portrayal–his actions and words don’t seem to match. Like Paridhi, I don’t see why everyone goes gaga over him. The reason behind his sketchiness is revealed later, which helps me understand him better.

I had a great time reading this romance with its myriad twists and turns, its frustrations and misunderstandings, and its joys and tragedies.

Recommended for those who like simple, heartwarming romances.
