Now Lead the Change cover

My Thoughts

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Now Lead The Change is an in-depth look at how managers can be most effective in a VUCA world marked by uncertainty and change and disruption by digital technologies. He explains why outdated management methods don’t work in today’s world anymore and how managers can use transformational leadership to lead their teams.

The language used in the book is simple, direct, and mostly jargon-free. Wherever special terms are used, the author explains in enough detail to make them easily understandable.

The book draws from a wide variety of disciplines to describe the Bio-Transformation Theory (co-developed by the author) and makes use of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic to explain how transformational leadership can be applied.

I like the clean, clutter-free look of the chapters–it invites readers to dig deeper. There are many, many concepts to understand and absorb and the book is not a light or quick read by any means.

I feel it is a useful, practical guide for managers to cope with ever-changing and uncertain global conditions that impact businesses.

(I received an ARC from Reedsy Discovery in exchange for an honest review.)
