My Thoughts

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I found the concept of fathers in the animal world unique since most books focus on the mother and child. I also learned something new–I didn’t know that the father of some of these species care for their young.

The illustrations are bright and colorful. The rhyming descriptions had to be explained to my 4-year-old, but older children can easily read and comprehend it.

I recommend this lovely picture book to all children to help them learn about new animals.

(I received a copy of the book from the author via Booktasters in exchange for an honest review.)
